Hi. Through some brilliant analysis and... ahem... reading the manual... I was able to resolve my previous drive-mount problem. Now, I am finding that I cannot play the diligently accumulated MP3's on that drive. I am attempting to use XMMS and failing. I browse to the MP3's, but they do not play! Rude, eh? This is a 2-day old installation of Red Hat 8.0. I have made alterations to the fstab file. CD's play fine, and the OS sound tester plays excellent stereo sound. Any thoughts, mocks or ideas?
