My RPM skills are a little rusty, but try this. 'rpm -qa |grep
gimp-print' should list all versions of gimp-print installed. Let's say
you have two versions, 1.0 and 1.2. To uninstall 1.0 you'll run the
command 'rpm -e gimp-print-1.0' with the full name including the
version.

In case you're curious why apt puked like that, it's because apt was
orignally developed for the Debian dpkg system which doesn't allow
multiple versions of the same package to be installed where RPM does.
