You're going to want to edit your grub.conf file, usually found in
/boot/grub/grub.conf . Perhaps /etc/grub/grub.conf. Here's an example
grub.conf file:
default=0
timeout=10
splashimage=(hd0,1)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title Red Hat Linux (2.4.7-10)
root (hd0,1)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.7-10 ro root=/dev/hda3 hdc=ide-scsi
initrd /initrd-2.4.7-10.img
title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
Your RedHat option should work fine, since you can boot to RedHat, so mainly concern
yourself with the windows option. You may also want to specify a suitable timeout, so
grub will boot an option without user intervention(default=0 specifies the first
option to be default-- RedHat with this example. default=1 would go into windowsXP).
Make sure rootnoverify (hd0,0) points to the drive and partition windows is on.
Numbering of drives and partitions starts with 0, not 'a'(drives) or '1'(partitions).
(hd0,0) in grub would mean the same as /dev/hda1 in most configurations.
By the way, it looks like GRUB is on the MBR, but it isn't a problem, since windows
xp's boot sector is on the partition, not in the MBR.
Hope this helps.
