In trying to troubleshoot all of this...

How do I find out what version of XFree I am running?

I remember when I first installed Mandrake 8.0 on this computer X wasn't
working with the monitor I have. I made some posts about it awhile back.

Anyway, I messed around with the settings a little bit to get it to work.

so, if anyone knows how to find out what version of X I am running that would
be great.

Thanks!
