Check your BIOS settings to make sure that it's set to try booting off the CD before the hard drive. Look for "boot order" or something of the sort. > And by the way, why is it that you cannot find where to download RH 9.0 > off the redhat.com site? did UUG have to pay that $60 to joing the RH > group in order to get the copies, or was I the only one unable to find > where to download the files off the RH site? I think the ISO's came to the UUG site by way of Bittorrent. I doubt you can get RH9 ISO's by bittorrent anymore, but there should be other mirror sites. AFAIK, Red Hat doesn't distribute ISO's because it's too much of a bandwidth load, and they'd rather you bought the CD anyway. But they still permit them to be distributed through other means. -- Soren Harward [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://phantom.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/newbies
