Check your BIOS settings to make sure that it's set to try booting off 
the CD before the hard drive.  Look for "boot order" or something of the 
sort.

I think the ISO's came to the UUG site by way of Bittorrent.  I doubt 
you can get RH9 ISO's by bittorrent anymore, but there should be other 
mirror sites.

AFAIK, Red Hat doesn't distribute ISO's because it's too much of a 
bandwidth load, and they'd rather you bought the CD anyway.  But they 
still permit them to be distributed through other means.
