I'm using Cygwin to SSH into the CS Linux computers from my Windows machine. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get the GUI interface to come up. I installed the full Cygwin package that comes with XFree86. I set my DISPLAY variable to my local IP address (with :0.0 at the end of it). I also use the -X option with SSH. I type "netscape" for example, and I won't get any error at all, but after 5 seconds or so it just gives me the command line again. Depending on what I try, sometimes I'll get "Connection refused". Any ideas?
