Apologies to security buffs, but everytime I've tried the "secure" setup of Mandrake's it has made things entirely unusable. So many passwords and restrictions on who can do what, it's enough to drive you insane. Glad to hear you got your network card working! > > Now I want xine to read encrypted dvds and I don't know which version > > of libdvdcss to get so it can read the encrypted dvds. I guess I got it to work. I wish I knew how If you used easy urpmi (http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php) to set up your software sources (media in urpmi speak) and added a plf source then you could have gotten the right rpms by just typing "urpmi xine" and letting the plf supply you with the needed rpms.
