I've had the same thing happen. My best guess based on what I was doing at the time is that the FTP server was full. I was able to do the same command a few minutes later and it worked.
Also a couple of Mandrake mirrors have has some problems lately. If you are
using secsup as your mirror, I'd suggest changing it.
I am using secsup and I have been having problems, so I try to head over
to easy urpmi and my browser tells me that it can't find plf.zarb.org. Bummer. Has anyone else noticed this?
