Okay, I have Fedora 1 and I am trying to get my computer to not generate
enough heat to support the Siberian army.
On the release notes (and numerous people reference this on the web) it
talks about clock throttling. It says :
In order to use this feature, you must load one of the following modules:
- longhaul.o
- p4-clockmod.o
- longrun.o
...
Unfortunately, I do not know how to 1) pick which module to use (I am
running a athlon xp-m, so I assume it is one of the powernows) and 2) load
the module after I figure out which one to use.
I think I can follow other faqs and things I have found after this point.
It seems that most of them assume those two items are common knowledge or
something.
