This patch addresses problems
experienced when doing an inplace
upgrade from NetWare 4.x to NetWare 5.1
on some hardware configurations. The
installation program will generate a
fatal error when it gets to the module
that launches the Java based GUI. This
only applies to an Inplace Upgrade from
NetWare 4.x to 5.1. The New Server
installation works fine without this
patch.
After the fatal error occurs, look at
the SYS:NI\DATA\NI.LOG file and scroll
down to the bottom and you will see 3
fatal errors, the first one being
"Fatal: Unrecoverable error in
driver.mainHallway()."
