I have done a little further digging and hope this will help. I have
found that after importing the entity signature request in pkibase
(PKI) then exporting it, all is well. However when you try and import
the signed signature request back into the KEY entity within
newpki-server it fails somewhere after re-loading its configuration.
After this, newpki-server will not start successfully. Watching the
process list after launching newpki-server reveals a lot of threads
get created but then at some point, one gets a SIGSEGV and dies, along
with all the other threads and parent process.

Running in gdb (without the detach option) shows:

..
[New Thread 1301596976 (LWP 10739)]
[New Thread 1301596976 (LWP 10740)]

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 1301596976 (LWP 10740)]
NewPKIStore::Requester_GetUnsentRequests(mVector<StackRequest>&, int,
int) (
   this=0x0, [EMAIL PROTECTED], lindex=0, max=100) at
NewPKIStore.cpp:881
881   if( !(m_Type & NEWPKISTORE_TYPE_REQUESTER) )

Hope this helps:-)

Paul
