Hi,
could you send us the list of the options you had activated when created
you're CA (server and client)?
I've not in mind those you need to activate for the server / clients to
use your certificate for SSL on https.
I remember there is an "Netscape server ssl" option to put into.
IE will not look at the "use cases" mentioned in the certificate and try
to use it despite of it wasn't generated for a specific use (SSL, mail
encryption etc...) that's why it ask you for the certificate.
I have a link to a page listing mozilla error codes on my personal
computer, I'll be able to give you more informations tonight.
Also, if you can, read my French doc and specially the section talking
about the CA and the options to be present in the certificates (both
server and client).
I can be also an error on the certification chain verification process,
as if the id of the root ca server is not present, etc.. again, you need
to check further in certificate options to be presents.
