Yet I have correctly specified my company's smtp server and port and
email address is one managed by domain.
That's weird, I need to debug this...
Is your company's SMTP server accessible from the internet ? If so,
could you send me private message, with it's address to allow me to
debug this ?
3. How is php component utilized? I attempted just plunking php zip
under htdocs...and editing config.inc.php...but still get message:

I have php5 working fine on this instance of apache...is only php4 or

This is a PHP module, it must be installed with the other PHP modules,
and added to the php.ini configuration file with:
extension=php_newpki.dll
4. I have created CA entity and designated as RootCA. Yet I cannot
create child CAs from this CA using CA Admin tool...why? Menuitem is
grayed out.
Should I be creating child CA from ServerAdmin and then link Master to
Child CA using PKI Admin tool and link utility?
Did you link the PKI Entity to a Repository Entity ?
Did you follow the configuration doc ?
