MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT MET WILLIAM MONTGOMERY:
MONTENEGRO CAN COUNT WITH AMERICAN SUPPORT

PODGORICA - Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic met yesterday with
American Ambassador in Belgrade William Montgomery.

Djukanovic introduced Montgomery with current activities on the
Montenegrin political scene, pointing out readiness of Podgorica to
start serious dialogue with Serbia about mutually acceptable solution of
problems between the two states.

Montenegro can count with further U.S. aid for implementation of
economic and democratic reforms Montgomery said, assessing as very
positive outcome of the recent Donors' Conference for the FRY.

MEETING OF LEADERS OF COALITION "TOGETHER FOR YUGOSLAVIA"
BULATOVIC IS NOT INTERESTED IN COALITION WITH THE PART OF DOS

PODGORICA - Leaders of coalition "Together for Yugoslavia" have not yet
brought the final decision whether they are going to solve the
federation's crisis by forming the new government or by going to early
federal parliamentary elections.

Taking into account that two other partners in the coalition are against
fresh federal elections, it appears that the largest coalition's member,
the Socialist People's Party (SNP) may accept soon forming of the new
federal government, headed by someone from SNP.

Leader of SNP Predrag Bulatovic has emphasized that his party is
interested in coalition onlu with one part of ruling Serbian DOS, namely
Democratic party of Serbia ( DSS) led by DSS president and FRY President
Vojislav Kostunica.

In that case the most probable candidate for the federal
premier-designate are Vice President of SNP Srdja Bozovic and outgoing
federal finance minister Dragisa Pesic.

This variant suppose to find solution for the post of new finance
minister, because Montenegrin coalition "Together for Yugoslavia" is
interested for it equally as the DOS.

MONTENEGRIN LIBERAL ALLIANCE:
SOLUTION WHICH WOULD PREVENT THE BOYCOTT OF REFERENDUM

PODGORICA - Liberal Alliance of Montenegro ( LSCG) will suggest the new
Law on Montenegrin referendum which will not contain an article saying
that more than half of registered voters must turn out in order to be
valid.

This change of the present Law will prevent the boycott of referendum,
which is being planed by pro-Yugoslav parties - LSCG said.

The current Law article fits pro-Serb parties because pro-Montenegrin
parties would have to bring more than 220 000 voters at the polling
stations, what seems practically impossible in the case of boycott
announced by pro-Serb parties.

MILO DJUKANOVIC PRIMIO VILIJEMA MONTGOMERIJA:
CRNA GORA MOZE I DALJE DA RACUNA NA AMERICKU POMOC

PODGORICA - Predsjednik Crne Gore Milo Djukanovic primio je juce
americkog ambasadora u Beogradu Vilijema Montgomerija.

cilju pronalazenja zajednickog resenja medjusobnih odnosa.

BULATOVIC NECE SA SVIMA IZ DOS-a

SRJ, nastala padom zavezne vlade, rijesiti formiranjem nove savezne

Bozovic i Dragisa Pesic, savezni ministar finansija u ostavci.

LIBERALNI SAVEZ CRNE GORE:

bojkota.
