Vuk Draskovic: Serbia Will Not Allow the Creation of Another Albania

Belgrade. Serbia and Montenegro's Minister of Foreign Affairs announced that
Serbia will not allow the creation of another Albanian country on its
territory, Serbian newspaper Danas reports today. Draskovic emphasized that
according to the principles of international law two Albanian countries
cannot exist on the Balkans, as no second Croatia or Serbia exists. The
negotiations on Kosovo wouldn't be held according to the information in the
media but according to Albanian community in Kosovo's duty to respect
Serbian and other minorities, according to the recommendations and
conclusions of the Contact Group and UN Security Council that there is no
turning back to the situation before 1999, Draskovic stated, adding that a
compromise decision should be found in correspondence to the UN Resolution.
