According to UNHCR statistics, there are 207,000 IDPs displaced in Serbia
and 18,550 in Montenegro. Only approximately 13,000 of these IDPs have
returned to their community of origin in Kosovo since 1999.

Many IDPs have still not found a durable solution[1] <about:blank#_ftn1> .

UNHCR figures indicate that a further 20,000 persons have registered as
displaced persons since 2000 and a further 4,100 registered as displaced
following the events of March 2004.
