Focus News Agency (Bulgaria) november 29, 2005 Ibrahim Rugova Condemns Kosovo Flag Burning Pristina - Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova condemned the burning of the Kosovo flag, Kosova Press reported. In a statement to the media Rugova described that act as a crime against order and law, which was committed by a few irresponsible persons. Members of organizations, which were formed after the Kosovo Liberation Army broke up, torched Kosovo flags yesterday in Pristina. Following a peaceful protest march through the centre of Pristina, ex-members of the KLA gathered outside the Philology Faculty to read a letter addressed to the international community and the Hague tribunal, in which they demand Limaj's release. The protest march passed without incidents. A strong international police force secured all entrances to UNMIK [UN Interim Administration in Kosovo] institutions and the building of the Kosovo Assembly, which also houses the government seat. The Hague tribunal has saccused Limaj, together with Isak Musliu and Haradin Bala, of war crimes in the Lapusnik prison camp in Kosovo.
