In my tests I have done full installations (no updates, I have the home
dir in a separate partition and not much non-Mandrake software added to
my systems, in addition most tests were done on a dedicated test
machine) and there the "LANG" variable is set to "en_US" which makes
printerdrake behaving correctly. Try "localedrake" to fix the setting.
