3. Approval of Minutes: December 29, 2009 and January 5, 2010 Council Meeting

4. Public comments
		Citizens may address the Mayor and Council regarding city business matters not on the agenda. The comment period is 15 minutes with a limit of 3 minutes per person.

5. Presentation/Awards
	Presentation: 	Employee of the Month
			presented by Reta Trimble, Employee Association President		
6. Action Items
A.	A resolution consenting to the appointment of Mayor John Curtis as Provo City's representative on the Utah Municipal Power Agency Governing Board, Kevin Garlick as Provo City's representative of the Utah Municipal Power Agency Technical Committee, and alternates for the same.

B.	A resolution consenting to the appointment of Mayor John R. Curtis as Provo City's representative on the Utah Lake Commission Governing Board and Greg Beckstrom as the City's representative on the Utah Lake Commission Technical Committee.

C.	A resolution adopting a Federal Legislative Agenda for fiscal year 2011.

D.	Commuter Rail Station
	1. 	A resolution to participate with the Utah Transit Authority in its Art in Transit program for public art at the Provo commuter rail station, at a total cost not to exceed $100,000; with the Utah Transit Authority to provide 50 percent of the total cost, and Provo City to provide up to 25 percent of the total cost from City funds and to raise up to 25 percent with private donations; and to award this public art project to Don Mitchell for his “Portal to Another Place” and “Two Greeters” sculptures.

	2. 	A public hearing to consider a resolution transferring $25,000 between projects in the Engineering Capital Improvement Fund and applying to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.

E.	A public hearing to consider a resolution appropriating $1,144,500 in the Energy Fund for operational and capital expenses and applying to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
F.	A public hearing to consider a resolution appropriating $1,860,000 in the Engineering Capital Improvement Fund for capital expenses and applying to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.

G.	Land Use Legislation
	A public hearing to consider an ordinance amending Section 14.38.080 (Signs Permitted in Commercial (C) Zones) of the Provo City Code to amend wall sign requirements in the Central Business District (CBD) commercial zone.

H.	A joint resolution endorsing "A Call to Civility and Community-Ground Rules for Respectful Public Discourse and Behavior" in Provo City. 

I.	A resolution supporting the Mayor's 100 Day Plan.

The next regular Council Meeting will be held on February 2, 2010  at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 351 West Center Street, Provo, unless otherwise noticed.
