Just renewing my self-tutorial for NC, and have these Qs.
1. NC processes the input.* file, as per the newsclipper.cfg
definition. When I want to process news from X sites, do all
of them go into that one input file, or do I have to setup 1
input file for each news source?
2. While playing around with the yahootopstories handler
that ships with the trial version, I changed the max value
to retrieve in both the input file and the yahootopstores.pm
file from 10 to 30. The output, after reloading it, still
gave me 10 links. How come, and is it the same in the
regular version?
3. I made a sample handler for a resource (the Columbus
Dispatch, my hometown newspaper), but all the code is stuck
in a MakeHandler.inp file. How do I get my makehandler to
output my new handle to handlerxyz.pm instead of *.inp? Just
"Save As..."
and define a name.pm?
Enough for now, but also for everyone's reference, all the
answers I get will not be wasted. I've decided to build a
Ground-Zero FAQ based on your answers for the Completely
Clueless (e.g., me and others like me).
