After all, how often do you get a free concert in the comfort of your home with some of the world’s most renowned artists? It was for a good cause too, as the collaboration was put together to support healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus pandemic. The concert raised more than $127 million which will be used to support organizations responding to COVID-19. Like you, I believe it’s amazing to raise money on a global scale so that collectively we can combat deadly diseases. But I want to bring to your attention a few facts so you can question why a concert was necessary to raise funds. The World Health Organization While the world was grateful that the World Health Organization was involved in an event like this, most people failed to see through the smoke. The concert’s goal was to raise money to help healthcare organization deal better with the crisis. But no-one questioned why an organization like WHO needed to raise money from the public when its very existence is supposedly built on making health accessible to all. If its main objective is to ensure *“the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health,” *shouldn’t the organization have been prepared for crisis like this? With an annual budget of *$4.4 billion* <https://www.who.int/about/finances-accountability/budget/PB2018-2019_en_web.pdf?ua=1>, you would expect so. Instead they were allowed to victimize vulnerable people by extorting money from them in the name of charity. Money taken from a global audience including those who had lost their jobs, businesses, homes and hope. People genuinely want to be part of the solution, and if they’re told this donation will help, they believe it because it comes from a seemingly credible authority. What I am personally baffled by is how an organization that misuses its funds and spends more on travel than combating AIDS, malaria or tuberculosis was allowed to raise money from the public?Did they really need the money from people and small businesses during this crisis? Again, no. In one year, the agency spent $200 million <https://apnews.com/1cf4791dc5c14b9299e0f532c75f63b2> on travel alone while their commitment to “saving lives” as their Director General put it, is regularly neglected. *These are simple moral questions.* Since it was first established in 1948, WHO has been involved in causing devastation around the globe under the false pretense of healthcare. Let me share with you one tiny and most recent example. In March and October 2014 mass tetanus immunization campaigns in Kenya were sponsored by WHO and UNICEF. After many Kenyan doctors suspected the vaccines, three independent Nairobi labs and in South Africa tested the samples and found that the WHO tetanus contained hCG when none should’ve been present. HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is an anti-fertility drug. Combined with tetanus toxiod — the vaccine against tetanus — hCG causes pregnancy hormones to be attacked by the immune system.
