From: "David Sasaki" Date: Mar 23, 2017 1:15 PM Subject: Seeking a consultant to explore philanthropy's role in participatory budgeting
Dear friends, The Hewlett Foundation’s Transparency, Participation and Accountability< http://www.hewlett.org/making-transparency-matter-an- updated-strategy-to-engage-citizens-in-delivering-better-public-services/> team and Omidyar Network’s Governance & Citizen Engagement<https://www. omidyar.com/our-work/governance-citizen-engagement> initiative are exploring whether participatory budgeting may advance our strategic goals to increase trust between citizens and government and improve the delivery of public services. We’re aware that there is already a lot of research out there and we’re looking for the right consultant (or team) to help us make sense of it and explore philanthropy’s role in advancing the field globally. The consultancy is anticipated to start in May 2017 and conclude in October 2017. Expressions of interest (EOI) of no more than two pages are due on April 5, 2017. The full call for EOIs is available here: http://www.hewlett.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/PB-EOI-2017.pdf Many thanks and apologies for any cross-posting, David and Laura -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TICTeC" group.
