*Dear colleagues,* *We’re pleased to share some important updates about the 5th OGP Global Summit to be held in Tbilisi from July 17-19.Draft Agendas for the 5th OGP Global Summit and Civil Society DayWe can now share the draft agenda <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yfe9r45DldsUdX0foBadLhGBXXZgsRnX4nJmp0ggfXc/edit>for the Global Summit. As always, this draft agenda for the Global Summit was co-created with the community through an open call for proposals. We received over 500 proposals in less than a month. Many proposals were related to the three main tracks - anti-corruption, civic engagement, public service delivery - while others highlight other cross-cutting and emerging issues. The process of narrowing down the agenda from the many promising proposals we received is described in this blog here <https://www.opengovpartnership.org/stories/announcing-agenda-5th-ogp-global-summit>. As with previous Summits, Civil Society Day, will provide the community an opportunity to connect, share, and strategize on how we can respond to global and regional trends affecting civil society and the open government movement. We are happy to also share with you the draft agenda <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mZiT099Y0mx4ujJlQoaqddZQuIu5XUkwpGQSWW9OiKw/edit#> for the Civil Society Day. We have designed the agenda by taking into account feedback from previous Civil Society Days, particularly on the need to provide ample time and space for networking. The agenda will focus on issues of current relevance, and curate conversations which enable civil society to self-examine its role, accountability, and approaches. We welcome nominations for lightning talks (in the the ‘Spotlight on Reforms’ sessions), suggestions for additional topics for the thematic circles as well as other additional comments or feedback. Please fill out this short form <https://goo.gl/forms/GE5O6iHRdfpTiFrr1> by June 8th to share your suggestions. We will publish a final agenda by the third week of June. Please do note that this event is open only to representatives of civil society organisations, academia and think tanks. Considering the overwhelming interest, attendance might need to be capped due to venue capacity. If we do need to make choices, we will let you know as soon as possible if your place at Civil Society Day is confirmed or not, and share the criteria we have used to do so. If you would like to indicate your interest in attending Civil Society Day and haven’t registered for the Summit yet, please do so by filling out the Summit Registration Form <https://ogpsummit.org/registration> by June 8. Other Important UpdatesRegistration and Visa Information: All registered participants will soon receive confirmation emails. This will be an ongoing process until registration closes. The Government of Georgia has passed a decree <http://bitly.com/GEvisadecree> allowing for visa-free travel for OGP Summit attendees. Those who would ordinarily require a visa must register by June 25 at the latest or you will not qualify for visa-free access. Further details can be found on the updated OGP Global Summit Visa Information page <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-7JmyPzxL7nJQV9ZP0c0vMxvDTo_f_L9zoVQM_86ioM/edit?usp=sharing>.And as a closing call to action, we encourage you to use Summit and the weeks leading up to the Summit to advocate for bigger and better results, and secure priority wins for your national open government agenda. You can do so by pushing for your Head of State/Government, OGP Ministers, and other national champions to attend the Summit and make ambitious new announcements.
