Generally every Enterprise will have a pro-active security device/software running at the gateway. This itself will alert you when an attack is supposed to be performed with all required details in the log. Hope you also get the same.
Other way is, there are possibilities to get remote user IP. Online/Offline: Send an Facebook invitation / there are publicly available customised url's which gives u the current IP when the remote user clicks on it.
