hi! i had doubt regarding squid acting as transparent proxy? what does a transparent proxy does? and how do we get to it? is it reachable from client? (using telnet if we know its name) how do we find its ip address?
i learnt that the proxy which i set in browser is reached only after allowed by transparent proxy. (my query or website addr. in browser) -----------> firewall ------------------>transparent proxy ---------------->(proxy set in browser) what is the function of above all units....particularly the third?
