i got a tip via mail from an user... "where the NFS server would refuse connections with a permissions denied message if the client machine did not have a resolvable IP address.
The quick and dirty solution/test if this is the bug being encountered is to enter the IP address of the client machine into /etc/hosts (the name assigned is irrelevant, just that a reverse lookup resolves to something)." -> i added my client to /etc/hosts and.. i don't know why but it works now without problems... wow... lg HN -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
