Great. This is a good feature. Thank you very much for providing
this. Now, I was able to create graphs like the one found by
following the URL below, without any extra magic.

 http://lagavulin.it.helsinki.fi/~mjs/nfsen-channels.gif

(The gaps in the graph don't have nothing to do with nfsen.)

For some reason, I wasn't able to create the channels via the web
interface. When using the nfsen's CLI, the channels were created and
after that I was able to modify their parameters via web interface.

And finally, perhaps this is already mentioned somewhere in docs, but
I didn't see it and hopefully I've diagnosed this right. This may be
due to a rather old rrdtool installed on the system I'm testing
 nfsen.

The names of the channels should be such that rrdtool accepts them as
names of data sources[1]. First, I had named the channels so that the
names contained dashes (-) which resulted in no graphs and error
message in logs saying "can't parse DEF". Then, I recreated the
channels with dashes replaced by underscores (_) and now rrdgraph.php
 was able to produce graphs.

      [a-zA-Z0-9_]" (rrdcreate(1))

 Cheers,
