Thank you for your reply, Peter. Don't worry, there's no point in crying over spilled milk. :) The important thing is that this shouldn't happen (so easily) in future versions. For now, I set the expire threshold to a lower value (200G out of 240) and I set an additional time limit for the live profile. I will keep a close eye on the disk usage for the near future.
I think a panic switch would be a great idea, or at least a default installation that separates collected data from profile data.
