Hi guys, I am using 7600 routers and not 6500 but on the 7600 you can configure netflow for information switched in hardware or for software.
Enabling NetFlow on the MSFC: The NetFlow cache on the MSFC captures statistics for flows routed in software. I want to see AS info so i configure both. For software (routing information like AS information) i configure this on a interface: ip flow egress ip flow ingress ip route-cache flow no mls switching unicast Offcourse the ip flow-export has to be correct, something like this: ip flow-export version 5 origin-as bgp-nexthop I am still testing what the best combination are and have to read some more pdfs... It also could be because the 6500 doesn't have layer 3 information when configured so. Cédric what do you mean with 0? Is this de AS number or interface index?
