Jon Stahl has posted an interesting blog entry about Windows Live Writer, which raises the question whether it could form the basis of the 'offline Plone' that gets discussed from time-to-time.
The question is, has anyone attempted to implement any common blogging api as a Plone product? For example Windows Live Writer (and other offline tools) support an XML-RPC based protocol known as MetaWeblog API which allows for creating/editing posts, fetching existing posts, and also uploading files or media objects.
