Oxfam people - it'd be nice if you could distribute some information internally about how not to send out-of-office replies to mailing lists. You do seem to be the prime offenders. :)

doesn't recognise the precedence header. It isn't something that an ordinary user can reconfigure. I think we've got Oxfam GB's Notes servers configured to not do this any more, but Carlos probably has to talk to his own Notes administrators.

Alternatively I'd recommend the solution I use which is to read lists with nntp through Gmane so I don't get my inbox filling up with list mails.

That was going to be my suggestion. ;)
