I'm still working on a few, I'll let you know when I'm done (probably
2 or 3 days), then if you can take a look at the troublesome ones,
that would be great.

Ok Steve I will take a look to the code next week to try fix
remaining tests.
If we can fix all in 15 days we can change the plan for NH2.1.0 and
release a Alpha3 where the default QueryTranslator is the new one.
Thanks for your dedication.

Hi Chaps,
Though it was time for another update. I've made continued progress
over the last couple of weeks, and the AST parser is nearing
completion. Right now, there are only around 17 tests in the main
NHibernate test suite that don't pass with the new parser, which out
of over 1500 is pretty good. So far, I've only had to make one minor
change to the NHibernate trunk, for which I've just submitted a patch
to Fabio. Assuming that gets applied, then the AST parser should work
against the upcoming NHibernate release.
Of the 17 tests that remain, there are a couple that I'll have to post
in more detail about, since they are tricky to get working. Indeed,
the corresponding tests in the Hibernate source tree also fail with
their AST parser. They primarily relate to legacy stuff, so it may be
that we can live with them. Anyway, I'll get the remaining ones that
I can sort out done and then do a detailed post on those left to get
your views on them.
Hope to be on the LINQ stuff in the next few days (getting quite bored
of AST now, so it'll be nice to have a change!)
Cheers,
Steve
