The filter approach is not in favor of our fat message design. We put
all localized data in one message and the filter sample assumes you
want to retrieve data in one language. This sample is also not usable
as it has only one localizable field ("Name") while we have multiple
fields wrapped in a class. The other solution is using a string/lcid dictionary for each localizable property which is not in favor of our datamodel. The example of Ayende I'm having problems with a List (a many-to-one) within a Dictionarty (map). Is it possible to solve it this way in the mappings? Ayende has a post named "NHibernate Mapping – <map/>" http://ayende.com/Blog/archive/2009/06/03/nhibernate-mapping-ndash-ltmapgt.aspx He has some examples and the one that I think would comply to my problem: id = session.Save(new Index { Local = new Dictionary<string, IndexLocalized> { { "en", new IndexLocalized { Title="A title", Description = "A very very very nice description about the title :-)", Tags = new[] { "test", "example" } } } } }); But his mapping does not suit the above code and I tried like this: <map name="Local" table="IndexLocalized"> <key column="IndexId"/> <index column="languageCode"/> <many-to-many class="IndexLocalized" column="IndexId"/> </map> This is not working.. I first had the composite-element construction there and that DID work but when I wanted to extend it with the Tags then it failed and I tried this. I don't know how to get the mapping right for this scenario. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nhusers" group.
