It seems that there is no support for querying composite-element (collections of components) using the Criteria API. It is possible using HQL and I would have thought that now that nhibernate is using an ANTLR behind the scenes it shouldn't be too difficult to implement, I know this is still a problem in hibernate and is a long running issue which has caused alot of frustration. Is there any news/update or any impetous at all to fix this problem because I know there are many people such as myself who prefer to use (almost entirely) the Criteria API due to it's natural abillity to construct queries in a logical fashion.
Any help or update on the state of this issue would be appreciated.
