Hi, Gareth!

First of all, nice work! NHibernate is indeed in need of some
supporting tools; NHProf and Visual NHibernate are good examples of
such tools!
Some comments, however:

- Why aren't all properties virtual by default, or, at least, those
properties that represent relations to other entities? I also noticed
that they are indeed all created as virtual, despite what appears in
the editor;
- When generating a model from the DB, when representing a many-to-
many relationship, there is no need to map the middle table, unless,
of course, this table has extra attributes other than the mapping
keys, so why include it in the model?
- Why aren't other databases supported, other than Microsoft's? What
about SQL Server 2008? OK, I noticed that you can use SQL Server 2008
if you choose SQL Server 2005, but IMO it should be explicit, like,
"SQL Server 2005/2008";
- Classes should be marked with the Serializable attribute (or even
with WCF's DataContract and DataMember), it doesn't cause any harm,
and allows them to be serialized; perhaps it could be an option?
- No support for lazyness yet;
- No support for private setters for properties;
- No support (at least, I haven't found it) for setting id generator
type;
- No proper support for composite keys: instead of generating a
property for each key, perhaps it would be better to generate an inner
class that would wrap these properties, and present a single key
object, since all NHibernate's APIs expect a single object as a key.

Please note that all this is just my humble opinion! :-)

Keep up the good work!

RP
