No, I have not done that. If I was really requiring to change the timeout "globally", I would look at NHibernate session events to see if one of them allows me to twick any sql commands the session creates before using it. But it really does not look to me as the way to go. (Better fix the sql to get shorter execution times, otherwise change the timeout only on queries requiring it.)
