Back in 1971 I purchased a new CB750, this was my second bike (first = CL175) during the summer of '72 I took a 7K mile cross county trip from ohio to california & back. Later than year I joined uncle sam's canoe club (navy) and ended up selling the bike because I didn't have anywhere to store it. Later I had several other bikes, but in '91 I sold the last one and was w/o a bike until '07 when I purchased a suzuki intruder. After two summers of the intruder I decided that cruisers just aren't my thing & I sold it last fall. I've always wanted another CB750 but finding an almost forty year old bike in decent shape (as well as finding parts) and at a reasonable price wasn't happening. While watching craigeslist I found my current CB650 for $550, it isn't pristine but it is a solid rider. When I ride the NH it feels just like my old CB and I feel forty years younger as well. I truly wish Honda would realize that there are many of us that don't want a cruiser or rocket, we just want a new NH!
