I have 2 acres, a 5,000 S.F. shop, and 3 sheds. One shed is devoted to storing
some old bikes and parts. Regular Toys R Us. Your taste in cars is impeccable,
that's why you can't find what you want. I had '64 Buick Wildcat once but it
just needed too much work for me so I sold that one. I always wanted either a
'67 or '68 Camaro myself. The 1st muscle car I drove was a '67 Camaro 3 speed
327. I launched it off the end of our street and skidded it sideways in two
lanes. Lucky there were no cars coming. I just had no idea! That was so much
fun that I decided that I wanted a car like that. I seemed to have gotten every
other car BUT that one sor far...LOL! HotrodMamma

Sounds nice. I just liked the '67 because of the slant back and neat
interior. four bucket seats, full length console... I looked for one for a
couple of years and only found 318 models. I wanted a 383 with all options. I
must have strange tastes in cars; '62 Vette, '68 & '72 Cameros, '67 Charger,
'67 2+2 Mustangs, '61 Biscane 2 drs... Buick GS, '64 GTO, Years ago I sold my
'65 Mercury Monterey convertible. Somebody else cruises with it now. One of the
guys at work has a thing for Oldsmobiles. I can't imagine where you keep all
your stuff, I ran out of room long time ago. No space anymore for anything but
the bikes. Three of those is about one too many. My garage has never had a car
in it. There is one of those "Murphy's laws" that states that the amount of
stuff will expand to fit the space alloted....

"73 Custom Charger...California special. 43,000 original miles on a
400 slapstick automatic. Functional back windows instead of the louvered ones
that all other 73's had. Magnum wheels, highback buckets, the works. A doctor
owned it, then a guy who brought it to Idaho and had it 3 months and then me. I
always wanted a '68 myself.

I have a '70 Super Bee tucked away...383 slapstick auto.
SHHH...don't tell! I bought a '72 Pontiac Tempest and it ended up having a 442
under the hood. I went out to the desert to buy a '64 El Camino and that
Tempest was next to it. The fella said $200.00 for the El Camino (no motor) and
for $300.00 for the Pontiacyou can drive that one home. He told me that it had
a Pontiac 350 but I didn't look. While driving it home I could tell that was no
350! Don't you love these old timer stories? That was a long time ago. I still
have the Pontiac. HotrodMamma.

I always liked my performance cars a little plush.
OR, pure RUSH ! So, along with the GS, GN I could get next to a Dodge Hemi
Super Bee (68) the rear windows don't even roll down. We had a 74 442 / 455 but
it was repainted blue (original white with black skirt stripe) And the 455 was
a low-output. 8000 gallon oil truck got that while it was parked. My favorite
GTO is the 64 sedan. (full doors) A friend had one and it went down to a plow
truck in a snow storm. Last year at the local car show (Magungie PA) there was
the most beautiful 62 Dodge Coronet 2 dr 413... to die for. Bars cranked up and
all...

I'm not much into Buicks. I'm a
Pontiac-Chevy-Mopar sort of girl. Bob and I are putting a front clip on my '69
Chevelle this weekend. I got 2 GTO's, a Charger, 2 El Caminos and more. Car
rich, money poor. You know the story. I bought 'em when they were cheap and
have been playing with them ever since. Yeah...I would need to know what
"T.L.C." means on that 550. After all of the work that I've had to do to my 650
I'm a bit put off by more work on another hawk unless the price is right. I'm
off on a ride with my club tomorrow! I'm going to bundle up and be out of here
by 9:00 or so. HotrodMamma.

I'm thinkin'... take your truck and 3~4
hundred. If it hasn't run in years, you've got a big job ahead. Add up two
tires, battery, carb and caliper work, fork seals. It's a rare find, but not
gold. Haggle and settle. In your collection, do you have a Buick GS or GN ?
