The #1 coil should go to the #1 plug. The firing order is 1-4-2-3 so the #2 coil should go to the #4 plug, etc I took my coils out as well and think wiring will only fit one way without messing it around. Just playing with them I think the 1-2 coil goes on the left side and would guess the #2 coil wire would be on the bottom. And the #3 coil should also be on the bottom. I'm not ready to put mine back together yet but this seems to fit
