Not being fond of Dunlops, I wouldn't even bother to get it adjusted were it on my bike.  I would choose alternative shoes for my bike.  My 450 came with Dunlops and they're new, but I will think of Bridgestones or Avons or Metzler as replacements when that time comes.

Just wanted to add I use sport touring Bridgestone Battlax tires on my bike and they last forever and have amazing traction. They do well on my 500 pounder. They are cheap too at about $105 for the front and $125 for the rear. ~Aldo

A bulge is a defect. Defect in manufacturing or damage from road hazard. Since I'm no fan of dumb-lumps, I won't comment on the integrity of the company. Most long-time riders have preferences in tires, I'm no different. If it were me. I wouldn't replace it with another of those. I've been more than satisfied with Avon tyres (Brit spelling) and I always try to get the British made ones (also made in Japan ) IMHO, the best in bias ply rubber for those bikes. I've seen too many dumb-lumps with stepping, uneven wear and poor tracking. In our shop we call them black, round, holds air...
Good luck trying for any satisfaction.

Hello Group,
I am not the most experienced rider but will submit my question to you all with hopes of some help in my new issue.  I have a nice 650 nighthawk and bought a new Dunlop front tire in July 2008.  The work was done at a reputable Honda dealership shop.  I now have 1557 miles on this tire but need to purchase another new tire.  The tire had a good size bulge the size of computer mouse.  I was pretty disappointed with the dealership parts reply to me that this happens rarely and is likely due to some type of material that I parked the bike on.  I feel that this is a defective tire and maybe the tire company could compensate or pro-rate my next new tire in less than a year.  I was told that tire companies will sometimes allow for this, but only in the same season.  Is this how it is or am I being blown off course.  Have any of you had a tire just bulge out?  I had a bicycle tire do this once but it was with an old tire.
Thanks for any feedback.
Tim
