Hi everyone, I have a '93 NH 750 with an old (slightly rusty) Vance & Hines street megaphone exhaust. Sort of loud. Tuning up the monster this spring has made a difference, but it's still loud.
Unfortunately, I live in a college-owned house and would like to not wake up the neighborhood when I go for a ride. Do you have any suggestions with respect to quieting the V&H exhaust - new baffles, repacking the existing ones with fiberglass, etc etc? Also: I picked up a set of OEM exhaust pipes on craigslist earlier this year, but alas they have no baffles; they'll be worse than the V&H without. If I could use these, the bike would look 10x better, too.
