Spraying carb cleaner into a good running bike should only cause it to do
something like barf on it or speed up for a short time. Since yours does
something different, there's something not quite right. Agreed ? You did say
you "cleaned" the carbs ? mmmm

well...i picked myself (and the bike) up off the driveway and shook
myself off (thanks, Graham)

although I am still a little sore and a little black and blue...i went
out a started the bike tonight...
i was a little apprehensive about putting it into gear, so i didn't,
but I did find something...

apparently, one of the air vents is coming apart from the
airbox...sooo...

i took it upon myself to spray carb cleaner into the small crack where
it's separating...

the rpm's went up...and stayed up...they're up to about 2-2500 with
the choke open...
it still has to warm up so that i can give it some throttle, and keep
it on..but it seems it's
along...

so what now, do i fix the air tube, by reinserting it or do i replace
it,,,and what does it mean
that if i spray carb cleaner in the area, the rpms shoot up...

any information or advice would be appreciated...thanks again...
