It's not worth $1,700.00 ever. You would have a hard time selling it 
yourself if you ever bought it, and especially for that price. '82 and below 
are not even the same bikes as the '83 and above. '83 and above are very 
good bikes with huge advances in all components especially electrical. I 
would say it's not worth more than $600-$800 myself. HotrodMamma.
