Looks like you have got some good advice. Graham and HotrodMamma are
right 83-85 NIghthawk 650's or even 550's are way better than the 82
version you are looking at.They are a different animal.  As for your
mechanic saying to stay away, I disagree, 83-85 NIghthawks are solid.
