Did you write down what measurements you got ? Have you tried cleaning up the connections that you found corroded ? Eliminate the small stuff before committing to any serious repairs (or money) Do you have an ohmmeter ? Based on what you say, I'd look at the connector from the alternator to rectifier. (white plug, three yellow wires, one black, one white) Pull it apart and check for corrosion or burning. My way takes more time, I know. I'm trying to save you money, not time.
