Your suggestion is most wise.  It would help everyone, esp those who don't want 
to go through the turmoil of some of the sarcastic, cynical remarks some have 
endured for giving a sincere and informed contribution.  Heck, even a well 
meant but erroneous contribution doesn't deserve such aggressive reactions.  It 
borders on being quarrelsome and is disheartening.
I myself have saved some informaiton I may need later in a reference file of my 
own for quicker lookup, but it would be great for someone inquiring about a 
subject we've already covered (beaten to death, in some instances) to just go 
to a file concerning the inquiry.

Dennis I thinks that is a great idea. There is nothing more valuable than 
information, but information is lost unless you can reach to it. I would 
suggest first we should identify the 'hot topics' (sort of what you have done), 
and then producing documents based on the discussions. Pretty much just a 
copy/paste, but we some organization.
