Did I miss something here ? You are going to degree in the cams ? If so; you need a degree wheel (mine's an old Isky for automotive), a metric dial gauge and holder, and some creativity plus much patience and a Dremel. I can instruct as you go.

What does anyone recommend? There is a Comp Cams degree kit on flea-bay but it's for cars and I don't know if there is a difference for a motorcycle application. Please let me know on this one. I'm going to go do all of the other stuff on my bike today and wait for the answer on the degree kit. Thanks all!
