Well, it's a slower pace of life that's for sure. Lots of agriculture down here though. And I see Joh Deere dealerships scattered about. They've got folks that fix up old tractors - just like at home.
I was in the Air Force as well and spent most of my time on a sand-bar island on the Texas gulf coast called Matagorda Island. About 150 Air Force guys, a mess hall, NCO club, four barracks and a live bombing range - and about 60 gazillion cows. Folks in the service sure know how to have fun. Dennis G.
