Yeah.  I favor that.   Doing things because they are good in and of
themselves is the only real way to do it.  If you do it any other way,
you're just doing it to get something back from God or from someone else.

bad... it is simply action... and if you do good acts for the sake of karma
then it does you no good. however if you do good acts because they are good
regardless of outcome (read as karma points) then it counts for you.... i
see this philosophy as the same (or at least very similar) to the Christan
teachings of "do onto others as you would have them do unto you"... but
regardless of what your faith is or what your ideals are is there any harm
in doing good for the sake of being good??


  and "you reap what you sow" is (at least in my book) karma... like i said,
action... nither good or bad
