I thought that nighthawks had internal filters?  I know my 650 does,
and you need to replace the o-ring gasket and crush washer with the
oil change...Make sure you torque the bolts to the correct value, the
"contact + 1/4 turn works most of the time, but an $80 torque wrench
from Harbor Freight or Sears will save your motor and/or cracked oil
pans...
